BERWYN, PA, June 23, 2008 – JohnBerwynShave36.com is proud and excited to announce the formation of the new rock group The John Berwyn Band. This band is the brainchild of John Molini and Professor John J. Hardek, both of Berwyn. Members of The John Berwyn Band include bassist and former professional baseball player, Jon Shave, drummer West Dean, and lead vocalist is John Berwyn Shave. The group has performed to packed houses at the Water Side Gallery and Watershed Studios.

10 songs are being written for the debut album, which is to be titled The John Berwyn Band V1, to be released on JohnBerwynShave36.com in the coming year. The album will have songs such as 'Running With Angels', 'Barbers Berwyn', 'Batting, Fielding and Pitching', 'A Torn Meniscus', ‘The Partial Removal’ and more, with lyrics written by John Berwyn Shave, John Molini, and John J. Hardek. A demo with some rough tracks will be unleashed on johnberwynshave36.com in the weeks ahead to give you a small taste of what's to come! John Berwyn Shave says “working with Jon Nichols, Rick James, and Tookie Williams is an honor and privilege unto itself...but to share the creative process with Kam Lee, a good friend and true influence of mine since the beginning is truly adding a sinister smile to my horrible face! The John Berwyn Band will practice and record at their Berwyn studio on Berwyn-Paoli Road, conveniently situated near the upper main line.
